Pay: $19 plus 10% shift difference = $20.90 per hour.
The Quality Auditor is responsible for performing raw material testing and physical property testing of manufactured products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Working within the quality assurance team, this role supports safe, accurate, and efficient testing procedures using specialized lab equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Perform daily sampling and testing of incoming raw materials, including capstock and recycled materials.
- Use laboratory equipment such as melt indexers, scales, muffle furnaces, FTIR, DSC, and color spectrophotometers to analyze materials.
- Record and report test results to appropriate personnel and quality management.
- Complete physical property testing of manufactured products from the Wood, PVC, and Rail Plants.
- Review test samples provided by production, compare against specifications, and report deviations.
- Contribute to maintaining accident-free operations and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Support additional QA tasks and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
- Work independently or across shifts to support departmental goals and testing schedules.
