Working closely with Receiving Manager/Supervisor to ensure efficient operation of the Receiving Department. Responsible for maintaining accurate records of shipping and receiving related transactions. Follows-up and maintains Receiving Manager/Supervisor aware of activities and discrepancies. Essential functions: - Scheduling and monitoring deliveries. - Communicates efficiently and concisely over the phone, in person and through e-mail to coordinate returns, rejections and credits. - Accurately inputs a high volume of information into the computer concerning incoming and outgoing merchandise in a timely manner. - Checking and recording the quantity of the merchandise for conformity to purchase orders and specifications. - Recording and reporting shortages and discrepancies. - Ensuring friendly, efficient and professional customer service.

Smallwares Manager
Restaurant Depot Chantilly

Working closely with Branch Manager to ensure efficient operation of the Smallwares Department. Assisting with personnel issues and supervision of Smallwares Department. Maintaining a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient customer service. Supporting the Branch Manager in maintaining company standards. Essential functions: - Supervising, training, evaluating, and delegating tasks to Aisle-person/Stockers in Smallwares Department - Ensuring friendly, efficient and professional customer service. - Ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. - Assisting customers with product location and detailed information when needed. - Plans and prepares work schedules to include lunch and vacation. - Maintaining stock and placing special orders as needed. - Communicating with customers and vendors in order to satisfy customer needs. - Physically breaks down pallets, stocks product and organizes displays. - Maintaining shelf tags, flyers and signage up to date and visible - Ensuring the area is maintained organized and clean. - Ensuring employees are following company policies and procedures including safety.
