The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating lift trucks to transport, load, and unload materials in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in supporting shipping and receiving operations by ensuring products are moved accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with safety and customer-specific requirements.
- Operate lift trucks safely and efficiently while following all safety protocols.
- Transport products to and from production lines, warehouse storage, and loading docks.
- Ensure correct products are routed through appropriate lines and strapped properly with required dunnage.
- Monitor product quality and report issues to the supervisor.
- Load materials onto trucks with accurate tallies and maintain proper documentation.
- Complete shipping paperwork and perform billing duties when needed.
- Receive products from incoming trucks and distribute them to designated departments.
- Rotate between strapper, take-off line, and floor driver positions.
- Perform daily safety checks and minor maintenance on forklifts.
- Operate additional equipment including Unitizer and baler.
- Maintain inventory records and assist in warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with maintenance, production, and leadership teams to meet department goals.

Qualifications
- 18+ years old
- High school diploma
- Can lift 50+ lbs
- Must pass drug screen (cannabis included)
- Minimum 2 years of forklift experience, including shipping and receiving duties.
- Order picker experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a corrugated manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask as needed.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to load and receive materials safely, accurately, and quickly.
- Ability to understand and follow general and customer-specific instructions.
- Proficiency in completing shipping and inventory paperwork accurately.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
$1500 new hire bonus
$500 at 30 days; $500 at 6 months; $500 at 1 year; 2 year bonus for hrs worked
