-Assisting and supporting sales partners, branch personnel, and customers relative to all aspects of sales, vendor sourcing, cost management, and development
-Researching all order information, both historical and current, before ordering materials from vendors
-Data entry of sales requisitions, bills of lading, and purchase orders relative to orders received from sales or customers
-Researching and resolving billing issues
-Coordinating with vendors and sales partners to obtain specific information relative to the material before placing orders
-Handling sourcing of material as required by customers and sales partners
-Processing orders to vendors via email, phone, or fax
-Ensuring accurate order fulfillment and shipping while coordinating with the warehouse manager and warehouse staff
-Verifying any freight charges on orders and obtain proof of delivery as needed
-Matching acknowledgments to purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies. Sending customer order acknowledgments as required.
-Resolving problems on damaged items by coordinating with vendors and customers; issue credits and debits as needed
-Overseeing inventory levels and proper replenishment based on forecasts and historical levels
-Reviewing purchasing reports and place stock orders accordingly
-Assisting in researching and resolving problems relative to month-end “circling” (inventory reporting)
-Assisting accounts receivable agent in resolving past due invoices with customers. Issue credits and debits as needed
-Daily reviewing of purchase order expedite & follow-up reports, taking immediate action when necessary.
-Selecting sales requisitions and process vendor payables for billing/invoicing customers
-Assisting with physical inventory of material, parts & machinery
-Assisting Branch Manager with daily operations
-Working with third-party sources and customer portals to facilitate customer orders/billing.
-Assisting with verifying outbound shipments for the warehouse
-Assisting other employees as needed
-Operational support (inventory control, consignments, 3PL’s, A/R review, machine deals, CSR training…)
-Completing special projects as assigned by the Operations Department, Branch Manager, or Vice President of Sales
