- Maintain and repair equipment to ensure safe operating conditions and minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including inspections, lubrication, and replacement of worn components.
- Maintain building and grounds, coordinating with third-party vendors for work and payments.
- Manage maintenance and repair of mobile and material handling assets such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and lifts.
- Provide recommendations for equipment upgrades, replacements, and modifications.
- Coordinate with branch management on contract renewals to maintain equipment and facility standards.
- Utilize company maintenance tracking software to document downtime, repairs, and spare parts.
- Oversee the installation of new equipment in coordination with corporate resources and external vendors.
- Conduct equipment inspections, safety audits, and participate in JHA/JSA reviews.
- Review and follow technical machine manuals and schematics.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues by testing, repairing, or replacing parts.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, and PPE requirements.
- Perform facility maintenance tasks, including inspections of fire, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
- Operate forklifts as needed, with certification required.
