The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by safely receiving, storing, and delivering raw and in-process materials. This role involves operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment, accurately documenting inventory movement, and maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment.
- Unload and deliver raw materials and supplies to support production.
- Use RF scanners to document transactions between warehouse and production.
- Accurately record and store materials in designated storage areas.
- Consolidate inventory to optimize warehouse space.
- Operate forklifts, roll clamps, box clamps, and company vehicles safely.
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments with proper documentation.
- Support inventory cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Notify supervisors of damaged shipments or inventory issues.
- Operate equipment including balers, banders, hand tapers, lifts, and tape sealing machines.
- Fill propane tanks and assist with baler room operations.
- Perform general warehouse maintenance and cleaning.
- Train and support other warehouse operators once qualified.
- Perform tasks in other warehouse or distribution roles as needed.
- Work overtime as required to support production or railroad duties.

Qualifications
- 18+ years old
- Can lift 50+ lbs
- Must pass drug screen (cannabis included)
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Previous experience operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs) such as forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts preferred.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to complete job-specific training and demonstrate job proficiency.
- Willingness to work overtime and assist across departments as needed.
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours).
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed.
- Working at heights up to 30 feet.
- Operating in varying temperatures and humidity levels.
- Visual acuity and depth perception required for operating warehouse equipment.
