Starting pay is $18.99/hour with a structured progression plan:
Level 2: $20.14/hour
Level 3: $21.30/hour
The Operator Apprentice is an entry-level manufacturing position designed for individuals who are motivated to grow into progressively skilled roles. This role includes hands-on support for mill operations, cleaning equipment, relieving machine operators, and contributing to a safe and efficient production environment.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas by collecting debris, sawdust, and dropped materials.
- Clean industrial equipment, machines, and workstations.
- Operate a variety of light and heavy machinery under supervision.
- Provide coverage for production team members during breaks or absences.
- Assist with general labor tasks in different areas of the mill as needed.
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn new responsibilities.
- Support a safety-focused work culture by adhering to all mill safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- 18+ years old
- High school diploma
- Can lift 50+ lbs
- Must pass drug screen
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or labor-intensive environment preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and noisy environments.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Commitment to following all safety rules and operational procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as needed.
