Assembling parts and assembling into frames, straight and level with quality workmanship, for completion of machines built to WestRock’s high standards on the premises
Duties include:
- Assembling minor units by following a blueprint or as directed.
- Filing burrs or sharp edges off components.
- Cutting and mounting guards by using saws, drills, and taps.
- Mounting minor units and/or electrical boxes or conduits onto frames.
- Making simple tests of completed units to ensure a smooth operation on a variety of sub-assemblies.
- Select ingassembly methods, fit parts to close tolerances, file, scrape, drill, ream, mate, align and adjust parts as necessary for free working and proper operation, using hand and power tools.
- Promptness, follow work schedule.
- Cleanup of work area and shop as needed or directed.

Qualifications
- 18+ years old
- High school diploma
- Can lift 50+ lbs
- Must pass drug screen
- The ability to assemble parts, with knowledge of correct hardware to be used in the assembly of machines.
