Distribution Center Supervisor Clopay Corporation Lansing

Duties include: - Training new employees to work productively with a high sense of urgency and a positive customer service attitude. - Managing expenses and operating ratios to perform at or better than budget levels. - Making customer service and customer satisfaction a high priority. Assist CSR’s with elevated customer issues. - Administering division price policy consistent with division guidelines. - Administering credit policy consistent with company guidelines and assist in the collection of receivables in conjunction with sales and credit departments. - Administering order entry control and pricing policies consistent with Building Products Company procedural guidelines. - Maintaining physical attractiveness and orderliness of operation to reflect “quality” and “efficiency.” - Managing inventories to achieve high service level, planned inventory turns, and minimize slow-moving inventory. - Supervising warehouse operations of customer pick-up area. Assist in receiving of product. Ensure all receiving and shipping-related paperwork is completed. Assist in loading and unloading materials to provide optimum customer service. - Assuring compliance with Clopay Corporation Code of Business Conduct and Ethics by communicating the provisions of the code and monitoring the performance of subordinates with regard to their support of the program. - Order products for Distribution Center from various sources. - Enforcing Clopay safety policies. - Filling in for Distribution Center Manager in his or her absence. - Must be a self-starter capable of operating with limited supervision. - Directly supervises Distribution Center staff in Manager’s absence. Ensures employees are operating in accordance with company safety policies and maintains a safe working environment.
