The Production Associate – Padlocker is responsible for providing customer satisfaction both internally and externally by filling orders promptly and accurately. Ensures product is stacked properly to ensure a quality shipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Moving WIP loading into and out of production areas using forklift.
- Supplying empty pallets to Press
- Supplying and staging rolls for the press.
- Receiving and storing sundry items (shrink wrap, paper products, etc.) as required.
- Banding and wrapping load for shipment when necessary.
- Ensuring orders meet requirements for shipping accuracy and guidelines for customer satisfaction.
- Verifying line clearance, job number, part number, description, and revision level prior to packing. Ensuring all documentation is legible and accurate.
- Attaching samples to shipping containers if required by the customer's specifications
- Providing retain samples for quality.
- Operating pallet jack as needed.
- Remaining current on all standard operating procedures (SOP's)
Wage $16.00/hr. to $17.00/hr. depending on experience

Qualifications
- 18+ years old
- High school diploma
- Must pass drug screen
- MUST BE AVAILABLE to work a rotating shift – 3 days on 4 days off / 4 days on 3 days off.
- Six to twelve months related experience and/or training preferred.
- Must have or be able to obtain a forklift license.
- Must have the ability to read and write instructions and correspondences.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.
- Must be able to pass a basic reading test.
- Must pass color vision test.
- Must pass color hue test.
- Must be able to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience.
