Production Operator Apex International Chaska

We are currently looking for Production Operators for both our Chaska and Eden Prairie, MN • $16 per hour minimum pay • $1,000 Retention Bonus • Overtime available • Advancement Opportunities • No experience required; training provided • Medical, Dental, 401k, Life Insurance, PTO, Paid Holidays, Short Term Disability The shifts are as follows: 1st Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm 2nd Monday-Friday 2:00-10:00pm ($.50 shift differential) 3rd Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm-6:00am ($1.00 shift differential) Job Duties for this role include: • Effectively communicate with teammates as it is related to the optimal running of our production lines. Identify, report, and assist in resolving quality issues. • This position requires individuals to work on a production line with a variety of duties including, but not limited to: Putting bottles on a line, caps on bottles, boxing products, taping boxes, etc. • Utilize a “line stop” mentality when it comes to equipment, quality or safety issues. • Demonstrate competency in change over activities to make sure they occur in the minimum time with 100% readiness. • Demonstrate a working knowledge of APEX’s quality system as it relates to production. • Demonstrate competency in cleaning and sanitizing procedures • Have a lean focused mindset and always look for ways to improve our processes • Maintain safety by identifying issues on the floor, and reporting issues immediately Knowledge and skill requirements: • Fluency in the English language – written and verbal. Ability to follow directions and written processes, procedures, and specifications in communicated in the English. • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and able to work with fractions & decimals • Strong attention to detail
