Job Summary

Salary is up to $24/hr. The Sanitation Worker is responsible for any number of dutiesto ensure high quality sanitation standards are met in Production, Shipping, and Distribution. We hold the qualify and food safety of our product to the highest level, and a sanitary work environment is essential for ensuring food safety and that a high-quality product is delivered to our customers. Follows all safety procedures as set forth by the Company. - Operate stand-up forklifts to receive, unload, and move inbound shipments. - Sort, stage, and place products in designated storage areas. - Accurately pick products and stage orders for outbound shipments. - Stack, shrink wrap, label, and prepare pallets for delivery. - Load outbound containers and shipments to meet customer specifications. - Verify product type, lot numbers, and quantities to ensure order accuracy. - Report product damages or discrepancies to the supervisor immediately. - Perform light assembly work and palletizing as required. - Use RF equipment and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and orders. - Support warehouse cleanliness and participate in all daily safety practices.

Qualifications

  • 18+ years old
  • High school diploma
  • Can lift 70+ lbs
  • Minimum of 6 months of sanitation experience in the food industry preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Certified and experienced with stand-up forklifts; slip sheet operator certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform frequent walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using RF equipment and warehouse software applications.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Committed to working safely and following all company safety procedures.
