Equipment Operator

- Work throughout different areas of the warehouse in the following roles: - Operating CHERRY PICKER EQUIPMENT to put away full cases of products into the racking using a RF scanner and a lift that will take you and the pallet of cases up to 40 feet in the air - Assisting in the invoicing/shipping area – scanning and labeling outgoing parcels or loading a trailer with full cases that are being shipped to customers - Manual restocking of all products we carry, moving cases of new product to picking bins, using the FIFO process - General warehouse duties, including cardboard management or special projects - Maintain and inspect all equipment used during your shift to keep it in top operating condition - Maintain a clean, safe work area and environment, adhering to SanMar’s safety regulations - Operate powered lift (Cherry Picker) equipment to move product and place in the proper location - Unload, move, scan, label and/or stage full cases of product onto pallets using SOP - Meet ALL production and accuracy standards and delivery deadlines - Operate a Radio Frequency (RF) Unit and Vocollect Unit Pay rate*: $20/hr - $22/hr depending on experience + production bonus potential

• 18+ years old
• Can lift 50+ lbs
• Must pass drug screen
• Previous experience on a stand up ORDER PICKER is desired, but not required.
• Complete, pass and maintain SanMar’s Lift Operator Certification every two (2) years
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be flexible, be able to follow directions, and change priorities or rotate job duties as driven by business and customer needs
• Must be able to reach, climb, bend, kneel, squat, while carrying/moving full cases of products
• Experience with a Cherry/Order Picker type forklift preferred, but not required
• Must not be afraid of heights
• Must have use of both hands and have range of motion of the neck, head and back
• Specific vision abilities required are close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus
