Machine Operator

• Follow all production policies and procedures to support the start-up of this new operation. This individual will work in a team environment and will report to the Production Supervisor. • Follow all Safety, Allergen Controls, Food Safety & Sanitation, Food Defense, and SQF policies and procedures relating to job duties • Maintain productivity metrics, and daily, and weekly goals for production. • Operate one line for production and lead the team assigned to line. • Observes operation and speed of packing machine and adjusts when necessary. • Clears jams and performs basic troubleshooting. • Performs all quality inspections and completes forms. • Responsible for maintaining work area clean and organized. • Uses squeegee, brush, and broom to clean room for CIP and prepares machine. • Other duties as assigned. Environment: • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Hair and beard net, gloves, safety shoes, bump cap, smocks • Chemical Exposure: Cleaning Supplies and Food Allergens • Temperature: Refrigerated 37 degrees Fahrenheit

• 18+ years old
• Can lift 50+ lbs
• Must pass drug screen
• 1 yr of experience in food manufacturing
• 1 yr of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment
• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills
• Intermediate reading and writing skills
• Ability to work day or evening shifts and weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to maintain a safe and positive work environment.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to able to bend twist, stoop, squat, and pivot.
• Ability to walk and stand for 8+ hour shifts.
