Job Summary

- Maintain manufacturing equipment and the facility in such a manner as to maximize uptime at the least cost to production-related goals. - Uses valued expertise to review work orders, determine job priorities, and make purchasing decisions. - Determines the maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns and major overhauls. - Helps to design, install, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul production equipment, support systems and facility. - Ability to think strategically in assisting with plant layout and design. - Provides technical assistance to all levels of the organization. - Aids in the training and development of team members. - Follows and monitors safety rules and procedure; this may include representing the department at Safety Committee meetings. **Wage rage is $19-25 based on experience level. 2nd shift differential is 20%. Benefits start the first day of the month following hire.

Qualifications

  • 18+ years old
  • High school diploma
  • Can lift 50+ lbs
  • Must pass drug screen
  • High school education or equivalent; Technical course work preferred
  • Welding and shop experience
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Tooling and woodworking equipment experience
  • Electrical systems knowledge and troubleshooting skills
  • Light plumbing experience
  • Experience troubleshooting a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) preferred
  • Experience troubleshooting a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) preferred
