Job Summary

- Troubleshoot mechanical and extrusion process issues by responding to line calls. - Build, repair, and modify plant equipment, including extrusion and blending systems. - Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery, air compression systems, chillers, closed-loop water systems, and plant lift trucks. - Test water in the closed-loop system for pH levels, environmental compliance, and chemical adjustments as needed. - Coordinate with vendors for external maintenance and repairs. - Use SAP to locate and manage stored parts while following inventory removal procedures. - Identify and provide necessary information for non-store item purchases. - Complete assigned projects and tasks as directed by management. - Train new mechanical technicians in maintenance procedures. - Perform quality repairs efficiently to support production and ensure continued delivery of finished goods. Identify potential issues with equipment, buildings, and grounds to prevent downtime or safety hazards.

Qualifications

  • 18+ years old
  • High school diploma
  • Can lift 100+ lbs
  • Must pass drug screen
  • Experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong electrical knowledge and hands-on experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance processes for industrial equipment.
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar inventory management systems preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team as needed.
