Receiving Clerk

This is a clerical position where you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of shipping and receiving related transactions. Essential functions: • Schedules and monitors deliveries. • Communicates efficiently and concisely over the phone, in person and through e-mail to coordinate returns, rejections and credits. • Accurately inputs a high volume of information into the computer concerning incoming and outgoing merchandise in a timely manner. • Checks and records the quantity of the merchandise for conformity to purchase orders and specifications. • Records and reports shortages and discrepancies. • Ensures friendly, efficient and professional customer service. Understand the general function of a warehouse management system (WMS) and can follow work instructions well. Ensure drivers are checked in timely and with professional communication. Communicates and works well with the Shipping team. Follows all safety procedures. Plans picking and processes orders in the Warehouse Management System expediently, accurately, and timely. Plans outbound loads and processes them in the Warehouse Management System expediently, accurately, and timely. Ensures product has been audited before loading and is loaded on the correct outbound load Ensures outbound loads meet optimal cube and weight requirements. Accurately and efficiently compiles outbound manifests and scans into the system. Communicates any potential shipping concerns to branches and works with them to resolve issues timely. Escalates issues, Warehouse Management System problems and process opportunities to Assistant Branch Manager in a timely manner. Makes sure that low stock/out of stock or other inventory related concerns are communicated to the stores and Inventory Controller. Performs additional duties, responsibilities and projects as assigned. Supports Distribution Center cleanliness, organization and success.

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma
• Can lift 30+ lbs
• Must pass drug screen
• Computer, Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word proficiency
• At least 1 year of office experience
• Ability to calculate figures and type proficiently
