Job Summary

The Floater Renderer at the Tyson RVI-Harmony rendering plant is responsible for assisting in the various processes involved in the rendering operations. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to learn quickly, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. The Rendering Operator will work under the guidance of experienced personnel to support the efficient production of high-quality rendered products. Responsibilities: 1. Assist in operating rendering equipment, including grinders, cookers, presses, centrifuges, and related machinery, under the supervision of experienced operators. 2. Load raw materials into processing equipment according to production schedules and batch specifications, ensuring proper quantities and weights. 3. Monitor equipment operation and production processes, observing for any abnormalities or issues and reporting them to supervisors or experienced operators. 4. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure operational reliability, cleanliness, and safety. 5. Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and mechanical issues, performing minor repairs or adjustments as directed by supervisors or experienced personnel. 6. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. 7. Participate in training sessions and on-the-job learning opportunities to develop skills and knowledge related to rendering operations. 8. Conduct quality checks on rendered products, including visual inspections, temperature measurements, and moisture content analysis, to ensure compliance with specifications. 9. Record production data, equipment readings, and process parameters accurately and comprehensively in logbooks and computerized systems. 10. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support operational goals, address challenges, and implement process improvements. 11. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety protocols accurately. 12. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and supervisors. 13. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with others to achieve common goals and objectives. 14. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed to support production schedules and operational needs. 15. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks as required. 16.
