Job Summary

Forklift Operator will be certified in the operations of all forklift machinery in his or her area of responsibility. Load trucks with the proper finished product. Ability to load a variety of customer loads as per customer specification. Responsible for complying with food safety, food security, Quality, GMP's, HAACP, Allergen/ Sensitizer as well as other regulations as required. Will be certified in the operations of all forklift machinery in his or her area of responsibility. Responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of the product based on customer requirements and/or specifications. Responsible for duplicating and communicating all safety and good manufacturing practices in accordance with company policy as well as all other company policies. Unload supplies from incoming trucks and put in designated areas. Check count of incoming supplies. Load trucks with the proper finished product. Check amounts of product as loading. Ability to load a variety of customer loads as per customer specification. Ability to properly document loading activities to include trailer inspection, pallet type / condition, and any needed corrective actions to meet customer expectations. Remove finished product from the palletizers and store in the warehouse according to location designated. Supply plastic and raw materials to the production lines. Check forklift for oil, water, etc. every day before starting up the machine. Add oil, water, etc. as necessary.

Qualifications

  • 18+ years old
  • High school diploma
  • Can lift 50+ lbs
  • Must pass drug screen
