Job Summary

The starting salary is $87,000 - $100,000. Up to a 7% annual bonus for performance. The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of production within a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This role ensures that production goals are met safely and efficiently by managing team performance, monitoring equipment productivity, and maintaining quality standards. The Production Supervisor serves as a key point of contact between shift workers and plant leadership, driving operational excellence and team collaboration. - Oversee daily production activities and provide direct supervision to production staff. - Conduct safety briefs and promote a strong safety culture throughout the plant. - Monitor and enforce compliance with safety protocols and company policies. - Track and report production metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). - Coordinate workforce planning, including shift scheduling, time-off requests, and attendance. - Ensure all production demands are met by communicating effectively with all plant departments. - Supervise team performance and provide coaching, feedback, and support. - Participate in and lead Daily Management Systems (DMS) processes to track goals and identify improvement opportunities. - Promote a collaborative, team-oriented work environment, maintaining a positive relationship with union representatives where applicable. Use plant technology systems such as AS/400, Kiwi, or similar platforms to manage workflow and performance data. - Serve as a shift resource for problem-solving operational and mechanical issues. - Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 18+ years old
  • High school diploma
  • Must pass drug screen
  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing machinery, processes, and plant operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Experience using plant management systems such as AS/400, Kiwi, or similar preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, and make effective decisions independently.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt communication style based on audience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve process and equipment issues.
  • Must be flexible and able to work multiple shifts as needed.
  • Must pass a drug screening following a conditional job offer.
