Job Summary The West Territory Sales Supervisor will oversee Markstein’s service activities in Alameda County from Oakland through Pinole. This position will supervise, and coordinate activities of Sales employees engaged in promoting and selling beer for the Markstein Sales Company. Will be responsible for overseeing direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Sales Team. You will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Job Duties: (not a comprehensive list) • Interviewing, hiring, and training employees. • Planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. • Develops monthly goals and objectives through the Mobility software. • Tracks and measures goals achieved by subordinates adjust goals as deemed necessary. • Assure staff is adequately trained by continually educating, working with, and testing individual for knowledge gained. • Reviews, authorizes, and completes in a timely manner all direct reports payroll reports. • Accompanies Sales Reps on visits to customers to evaluate work performance, ascertain customer problems, and detect market trends and adherence to the Sales Process and Selling standards. • Maintains required Team-Sell and Ride with Days as set forth by the Sales Director. • Reviews sales orders. Keeps records of new licensed and delinquent accounts to ascertain market conditions and status of customers' accounts. Requirements: • Must possess leadership fundamentals in managing people; possess strong interpersonal skills to build strong relationships. • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or a minimum of 3 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Proficiency with Excel & PowerPoint. • Previous Management/Supervisory experience preferred. • Previous Merchandising and/or Sales Experience required. • Valid California Drivers’ License.   • Can lift 65+ lbs
  • Must pass drug screen
  • Must possess leadership fundamentals in managing people; possess strong interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or a minimum 3 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous Management/Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Previous Merchandising and/or Sales Experience required.
  • Valid California Drivers’ License.
