Job Summary

- Analyze and repair electrical malfunctions in machinery and equipment across the facility. - Safely install, maintain, and repair machine tools, shop tools, and production/building equipment. - Perform wiring, conduit installation, and setup of electrical components for systems up to 600 volts. - Program and troubleshoot PLCs and AC/DC motor drives. - Operate electrical switch gears and vacuum switches. - Maintain accurate maintenance logs and submit purchase order requests for repair parts. - Interpret and update blueprints, schematics, machine manuals, and technical drawings. - Troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical/electronic systems and components. - Ensure necessary stock items and parts are maintained for timely repairs. - Work independently and safely while supporting teammates as needed. - Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE. - Available for overtime and occasional short-notice shifts. - Work day or night shifts, with night shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

Qualifications

  • 18+ years old
  • High school diploma
  • Can lift 50+ lbs
  • Must pass drug screen
  • At least 2 years of industrial electrician experience.
  • Degree or certificate in electrical maintenance or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience with PLCs, Ice Cube Relays, boilers, and HVAC is a plus.
  • Ability to wire, install, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical and mechanical aptitude with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Visual acuity and color distinction sufficient to perform electrical work.
  • Able to move freely throughout all areas of the plant and wear PPE as required.
  • Willing to work assigned shift schedule and overtime when needed.
