Operates a lift truck all shift. Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning or recharging batteries, and refer defects or repairs to supervisor/maintenance. Moves controls to drive battery-powered lift trucks and transport materials between loading, unloading, processing, and storage areas. Moves levers and controls that operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack material. Positions lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, and secure material or products for transport to designated areas. Manually loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.
